The Niblicks:

“The Niblicks are a 4 piece rock n roll band from Perth characterised by a sound that has been carried through the 60s influence of rock and roll and the 90s British music scene which has arrived in the 21st century and been adopted and made their own. Since founding in 2012 the band have earned and maintained a loyal fan base wherever they play. With psychedelic hooks; melodic baselines; hard rhythms and anthem-like songs, it’s hard to stay still when watching them perform in places like King Tuts and the 02 academy to name a few Scottish venues the band have reached so far. With 3 E.Ps behind them, they have a catalogue of songs to keep the people entertained. ”

Aboriginals:

“This EP soothes my needs of needing to listen to something that makes me want to find my nearest local, sink a pint, bounce the pint glass off of a regular’s dome and then shout at the ceiling “ONE MARE TUNE”

Peter Cairns: Scotland, the Big Picture (PERTH) @ Salutation Hotel | Scotland | United Kingdom

Scotland is a nature-depleted nation – its large carnivores have gone and the balanced ecosystem that emerged from the ice has unravelled. But a bold new vision has started to evolve: one of native woodland, restored peatland and a landscape driven by natural processes. In this stunning presentation, Peter showcases the work of a team of dedicated photographers and film-makers who have gathered images to make the case for a wilder Scotland.
