City of Perth Winter Festival
The City of Perth Winter Festival is a 10 week long celebration opening with the Christmas Lights event in November and running until the Chinese New Year in February as part of the wonderful Perth Light Nights.
Perth’s now famous, star-studded Perth Christmas Lights Switch-On Party on Saturday 16 November 2019 will house three live music stages – expect singing dancing and lots of festive fun. You can celebrate all things gin & chocolate with artisan chocolate and craft gins at the Chocolate, Gin and Things Market and the Perth Festive Market. And for the little ones there are Funfair Rides, a Santa’s Grotto, Ice Caves, Snow Globes and much, much more!
Continuing in the festive spirit the City of Perth Christmas Feast on Sunday, 17 November, includes Zuppa, for those soup lovers and soup makers to show of their skills. See Perthshire landmarks at Cake Fest where we’ll create an edible Perthshire winter wonderland scene. This will all be topped off with a Parade of the Bakers on the 17 November 2019!
Perth will host Fair Saturday on 30 November and celebrate St Andrew’s Day on 1 December 2019 with a two day extravaganza of music, markets and food.
In amongst all of this you find quality artisan Christmas markets, speciality shopping events, Perth Santa Run, live music, tasty treats and so much more! Make sure you add a few dates to the diary, and round up your family and friends to make a day of it in Perth City Centre this winter.
