Take yourself a little further out of Perth City (virtually of course!) and into wider Perthshire and Kinross, and you will find a some of Scotland's best-loved independent shops and makers. From traditional grocers turned international whisky champions to Chelsea Flower Show award-winning florists, children's book sellers and artisan carpenters, the area is full of quality and choice.
All of these amazing retailers are working hard through lockdown to offer you an online shopping experience with many delivering goods striaght to your door themselves! They would love your support during this tough time, and in return you can be guaranteed the same great service and personal attention that has given our area's local shops and small businesses the glowing reputation they so rightly deserve.
We are currently working to populate this page and would love to hear from any businesses selling online.
Gordon & Durward, situated on Crieff High Street for over 95 years, has a fabulous range of melt in the mouth Scottish butter tablet, scrumptious macaroon, and the finest fudges available. Produced in Crieff using the finest ingredients they are made in traditional copper boilers to give you the texture flavour and colours you would expect from a company established in 1925. They offer a fantastic range of sweeties, guaranteed to bring a piece of happiness and love to anyone, delivered directly to your door.
Their online offer is vast, with a fabulous range of melt in the mouth Scottish butter tablet, scrumptious macaroon, and the finest fudges available, all prepared on site.
Nowadays, Gordon and Durward doesn’t stock the big-name brands. Fine confectionery-making is a great Scottish tradition, and they would rather support the few remaining Scottish manufacturers who are keeping that tradition alive.
Accordingly, the shop is a treasure trove of ‘weel kent’ names like Jenny’s Boilings and Ross’s of Edinburgh world famous for their Edinburgh Rock, Parisian Creams and Buchanans Toffees. Shelves groan under the weight of old-fashioned sweetie jars full of Soor Plooms, Lucky Tatties, Horehound Rock and sugar mice, just a wee sample of the huge selection of old favourites.
Send some love to a friend, family or even to yourself in the shape of a box of Scottish sweeties.

Allan's Chilli Products is an established business selling jelly and sauces in Abernethy. Borne from a desire to add some extra flavour to some of the bland meals on offer, Allan took to the kitchen.
He had no idea what he would end up with but knew he had a taste in mind that would enhance not only all types of meats and fish but cheeses as well.
"It took some time to get the combinations just right but, I believe I now have the taste I was craving."
Made from quality natural ingredients, Allan is delighted to now be selling his products online.
Dunkeld Whisky Box is a family owned, independent whisky shop and tasting space in Dunkeld. They sell a wide range of whisky, craft beer, gin, soft drinks and other beverages. They believe that whisky is for everyone (over 18 of course!), which is why they offer a wide range of styles, flavours and prices and are always happy to find the perfect dram for you, whether you've been drinking whisky for years or just starting out. Their range changes regularly – with all their products chosen because they like it too, and they hope you’ll like it too. They try to work with smaller producers and suppliers wherever possible and support other local, independent businesses whenever they can.
As they can’t currently have tastings in our tiny shop, they’ve moved tastings online. They are continuing their ‘Beyond the Box’ series of themed tastings, which take place every month - sending out a tasting pack and guiding you through the drams over zoom in an informal and (hopefully!) fun night in. They also offer private online tastings, which are a great way to get a group together to share an evening in.
They offer click & collect for all products, along with UK wide shipping options for all whiskies and spirits. They can still help find the dram you are looking for even if you can’t make it the shop - you can get in touch via the website. If they don’t have what you're looking for in stock, let them know and they’ll do their best to find it for you.

In August 2020, Errichel launched Thyme Delicatessen, a shopping experience occupying the farmhouse's beamed former kitchen. Products offered include local produce, including chef-patron Paul's own range of foods, as well as international staples.
Launched concurrently, Errichel’s online shop offers a curated selection of highlights from the range, particularly Paul’s range of award-winning jams and preserves. His latest marmalade, 'Seville Orange, Mango, and Rose', has been awarded the triple-star by ‘Great Taste’ - the awarding body’s highest honour. Multiple other products have also gained a star rating. Also available are Paul’s selection of cured meats and farm produce.
During the first Covid-19 lockdown, Errichel became a key partner in ‘Feldy Roo’, a charitable initiative to deliver delicious dinners to the elderly and vulnerable residents of Aberfeldy and surrounding areas. The popularity of Paul’s dishes led to another business venture - selling frozen portions of Paul’s delicious prepared meals. These are delivered locally, or customers can click and collect.
In addition to those items available for immediate purchase, Errichel’s website provides a full list of grocery and deli items that customers can order by email. Deeply embedded within the local community, Paul and Becky know most of their customers personally, so anything not covered online is only a phonecall or email away.
