He is best known as a firefighter who won the fourth series of the BBC television singing competition The Voice UK in 2015, where he auditioned with Kodaline’s “All I Want”, with all four coaches turning their chairs for him. NORRIE “TAGO” MACIVER is a singer/songwriter from Carloway, Isle of Lewis, currently living in Fife. Norrie is the current singer and front man of SKIPINNNISH who have just finished celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2019. The band sold out many of their performances including shows at the Usher Hall, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and the famous Barrowlands Ballroom.. In 2011 he was the first male singer to win Gaelic singer of the Year at the MG Alba Scot Trad Music awards.
