Located on the edge of the City of Perth, Scone Palace has an exciting and colourful history as one of Scotland’s most important stately homes. It is the true home of the Stone of Destiny, has been the seat of parliaments and the crowning place of the Kings of Scots, including Macbeth and Robert the Bruce.
The Palace houses an outstanding collection of antiques, paintings and rare artefacts and the grounds are renowned throughout the world, making it one of the most popular tourist attractions in both Perth and Scotland.
With our Old Servants’ Hall Coffee Shop, Gift Shop, Food Shop, Murray Star Maze, Children’s Playground and beautiful Gardens, we have all the ingredients for a great day out. Our Coffee Shop was awarded Taste Our Best last year with a large percentage of the produce used in the Kitchen being grown in our Kitchen Garden!
You can also stay at Scone Palace and enjoy a unique and memorable experience. Located in the North West aspect of the Palace, the beautifully appointed Balvaird apartment provides 5 star, luxury accommodation in Scotland for up to 6 guests.
