Outdoor Explore is based in Blairgowrie, Perthshire, offering outdoor activities across Central and Eastern Scotland. It’s offering bespoke adventures for individuals, small groups and families. These are suitable to novice and experience explorers who would love to see truly hidden gems of this area. You can try kayaking (tandem or solo), canoeing, hill walking, archery and mountain biking with us. We are also in partnership with other unique activity providers in the area, so if looking for something more, get in touch as we may offered a discounted ‘bundle’ of sessions.
During our kayak trips in 2015 we were able to see dolphins, beavers, otters, seals, ospreys, herons, jays, kingfishers and more. Additionally we add historical focus on this ventures, exploring forgotten castles and ruins, often based on islands. We have re-discovered locations of crannogs, Roman camps, forts and much more. Of course you will need to be in more than one location to see all this. Most of all, these places are surrounded by fantastic landscape views. Winter time exposing white peaks nearby, in the summer sharing some great flowers and colors. Truly all season experience. It’s worth mentioning that our tandem kayaks are very stable, comfortable and still high performance, allowing you to create some great journeys despite your fitness or experience level.
This year we would like to invite you also to take part in canoe beaver safari co-delivered with local wildlife expert. Exploring various locations in East Perthshire, taking you to places where often can’t get on foot. You will have chance to see some amazing structures build by our local beavers, learn what is their natural behavior and make your mind regarding their activities.
If you would rather try something else, more how about taking friends, family or maybe co-workers for some archery lessons. This activity not only would teach you good habits, introduce you to this sport, target shooting but also could tailor number of games, challenges and competitions. Outdoor Explore also guides people on local hills and mountains, specially Cateran Trail, or even offers guided bike trips.
