Collections at The Fergusson Gallery principally focus on the life and work of the eminent Scottish Colourist John Duncan Fergusson and his partner, and modern dance pioneer and artist, Margaret Morris.
Adrenaline pumping downhill mountain bike trails with natural obstacles and breathtaking views.
Only an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow, Comrie Croft Trail Centre boasts an ever evolving and expanding set of dedicated trails.
The bike gurus at Comrie Croft Bikes are on hand to help with bike hire, maintenance or advice. They can cater for everyone from littlies wanting a balance bike all the way up to hard core enthusiasts wanting a mean machine to test the trails with.
The blue trails are chock a block full of excitement with a cheeky pump track, bridge crossing, a dual trail to race your friends on and the chance to spin forever in the 360 donut! Fun for everyone from beginner to tail whipping experts.
If you’re looking for something more challenging try the red and black trails. Handcrafted by staff and trail faeries these trails are sympathetic to their surroundings, keeping as many natural features as possible. Think rocks, roots and steep downhill sections. They are extremely grin inducing, technical and deeply satisfying.
Follow the trails back down to the heart of the Croft where you will find the Cafe (seasonal), Skills Park and onsite facilities. If you’ve not got time to ride a trail, want to hone your skills or let your little sprockets have a try, the Skills Park is a great place to go. Lots of obstacles to choose from including progressive table top jumps, Jackie Chan drop line, rock gardens and even a mini pump area to get your adrenalin going.
