Matthew Mackie joined the Tippermuir team, which includes graphic designer Bernard Chandler, a couple of years ago. Battleground Perthshire was followed by other titles the including novels Trust by Ajay Close and A Chocolate Soldier by Dave Millar; a play, Love All, by Dorothy L Sayers which was launched at the Essex Crime Writing Festival by former MI5 Director General and today crime novelist Stella Rimington; a short story collection from Alan Laing entitled Walking with Ghosts; two anthologies, Perth: As Others Saw Us by Donald Paton and Taking Detective Novels Seriously by Dorthy L Sayers and Martin Edwards; two books on the Spanish Civil War, Spanish Thermopylae and In Spain with Orwell; and several books on the history of Perth and Perthshire.

The company’s most recent publications are: The Early Photographers of Perthshire by Roben Antoniewicz and Paul Philippou; The Tale o the Wee Mowdie, a children’s book written in Scots; Wee Stories from the Crescent – a reminiscence of Perth’s Hunter Crescent estate by Anthony Camilleri; and the forthcoming The Fair Maid of Perth – the Perth edition.

Tippermuir is happy to receive books and ideas from authors especially titles of local interest.
