Nigel and Stella warmly welcome you to Galvelbeg House Bed & Breakfast, a high quality family run guesthouse offering Bed and Breakfast or self-catering accommodation in Crieff, Scotland. It is situated on the east side of Crieff on the main Perth Road. Built in 1894 and restored in 1992, Galvelbeg House has a warm and friendly atmosphere which puts guests at ease with the surroundings and makes for a comfortable stay. Whether your stay is overnight or longer, you are sure to enjoy this beautiful house in Crieff.
Galvelbeg House has 5 letting rooms in total, two double rooms, two twin-bedded rooms and a family room. Each room is fully double glazed, has a TV and a hairdryer. There is also a welcome tray consisting of a selection of teas, coffee & hot chocolate with some delicious home baking. All rooms have free Wi-Fi internet access. A full breakfast is included in all room rates. There is off road parking for cars and secure storage for cycles. Guests are encouraged to make use of our south facing garden with seating, tables and BBQ facilities available on request.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome. A small additional charge of £5.00 per stay will apply (to cover extra cleaning costs).
The house enjoys uninterrupted views of the Ochil Hills and Strathearn Valley. With the town centre only a few minutes’ walk away there is a large and intriguing selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants available to guests. Crieff has a large host of attractions for visitors to enjoy, most noticeably the Crieff golf course is a also within walking distance of Galvelbeg House, an enjoyable 9 and 18 hole course for any golf enthusiast. While for those visitors who are interested in Whiskey, the Famous Grouse Distillery is also located in Crieff and makes for a memorable day trip.
