Get another bite of Perth and Kinross as Cake Fest returns

As part of this year’s Winter Festival we are looking for bakers of all abilities from beginners to professionals to help create a giant edible map of Perth and Kinross.

Groups or individuals are being asked to pick their favourite building or place within Perth and Kinross and recreate it in cake form. These will then feature on a giant edible map of the region which will be skillfully created by Cake Fest Head Baker Simon Preston. Baking teams will be guided by Simon every step of the way and there’s no charge to take part.

Perthshire Open Studios was launched in 2008 and is now in its 11th year. It is an annual nine-day (1st – 9th) event held in September and involves artists and makers across Perth & Kinross opening their doors for visitors to come and learn about their crafts.  A growing number of participants and visitors each year makes it a highlight in the calendar of arts events in Scotland.
