When the nights come in, Perth Winter Festival comes alive. Celebrate with us at Perth’s biggest ever Christmas party. Make your way to the bustling centre of our compact city for street entertainers, reindeer, fun fair rides, live music and more. All surrounded by the best independent retailers ready to help you kick start your Christmas shopping experience.
Perth Chocolate and Gin Street Fest
11.00 am – 5.00 pm, Perth City Centre
This is a unique celebration of all things chocolate and gin is the perfect place to visit for special Christmas gifts and a treat or two (go on, we won’t tell).
The gin is strictly for the grown-ups, but there’s also lots to see and do for the family, with chocolate making experiences, cooking demonstrations, and chocolate in all forms to admire and taste.

Perth Christmas Market

Adding to Perth’s existing array of independent shopping experiences, the Perth Christmas Street Market will bring even more choice to gift buyers. Whatever your gift buying requirements this festive season, Perth is the place to find a unique and thoughtful present.

Cakefest returns to Perth for a second year with:
- an even bigger fully edible map of Perth and Kinross
- a brand new look and design of the edible map background to our Perth and Kinross cake landmarks, including an edible Santa and sleigh, edible Christmas presents and edible Christmas trees.
Perth Bakers’ Parade 2.00 pm – St John Street
Recreating a medieval guild tradition the Festive Feast Bakers will parade along St John Street to the Concert Hall Plaza in Mill Street.

The Great Perthshire ‘Zuppa’ Soup finale
The shortlisted entries for the annual Great Perthshire Soup Competition, hosted by local social enterprise Giraffe, will be calling for your votes. From complex spices to real rib-sticking broths this is your chance to choose Perthshire’s soup-making champion of 2018.
