From Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June we're inviting everyone to join us in a city wide party! It's all free to attend and is the perfect start to a summer full of fun, events, and togetherness.

And do we have four days of fun for you?

Kicking off with a free live music concert in Perth Concert Hall and ending with the Perthshire Mela - a glorious community event with a real carnival vibe - our advice is to clear your diary now, call your loved ones, and plan for a party.

Free To Attend | The Jubilee Concert

Join us at Perth Concert Hall for a very special concert marking the Queen's 70 years on the throne.

Heralding the start of our weekend celebrations, The Jubilee Concert is a free event, open to the people of Perth and its visitors. This very special concert has been directed and produced by Kevin Lamb, a distinguished musician who has numerous recordings and broadcasts to his credit.

The evening will be compered by the legendary Alasdair Hutton OBE TD, who many of you will know as the voice of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

A triumphant fanfare will open the show, thanks to the The Herald Trumpets of Scotland and from there we are delighted to welcome to the stage a host of talented acts who will play us through some of the nation’s favourite music spanning the past seventy years.

- The talented McAndrews Sisters, setting the tone of the times.

- Plaid Song, a stunning singing duo from right here in Perth

- The inspiring Julie Young Dancers will dance us through the ages.

- Local favourites, the wonderful Perthshire Brass

- All the way from Edinburgh, the brilliant Capital Concert Band.

- Another local favourite, the Jambouree Choir with some surprise numbers

- Perth and District Pipe Band will thrill the crowd with their uplifting set

- The Finale will include Highland Cathedral, and the March off will be Scotland the Brave and The Black Bear. It couldn’t really be anything else.

The Lord Lieutenant will say a few words and ask everyone to stand as we toast The Queen as the National Anthem is played.

The event is free but ticketed and as spaces are limited we recommend you book now!  There will be a retiring cash bucket collection for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. The UK patron of SSAFA is Her Majesty, and the local branch patron is our Provost.
