The City of Perth Salute returns for its 3rd year to Perth city centre. The parade of International pipe and military bands are joined by local bands from across Perthshire, in this fantastic free family event on the 19th August.
Watch the parade as it sets off at Noon from the South Inch to the North Inch, along Tay Street, culminating in an arena performance, on the North Inch, which begins at 13.00 hrs and runs until 14.15. There is space for spectators in the 5,000 seat stand or there is plenty of space if you want to pack a picnic and watch from the comfort of the North Inch.
The parade will feature International Marching bands from around the world. Steel bands, jazz bands and the Beats of Brazil Samba Band will help to bring a carnival feel to the parade.are in for a real treat. Closer to home Perthshire Brass, the Blackwatch ACF Band and Perth and District Pipe Band will all be parading. The Top Secret Drum Corps will also be performing in the arena.
