For one week only, a vast diorama of the Battle of Passchendaele will be on display at The Black Watch Castle and Museum. This emotive battlefield model shows a furious assault by the British army against a formidable German defensive position in exceptional detail.
The model was created by artists David Campbell and Neil Thomson for the recent Crieff Remembers Exhibition.
On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September, during Doors Open Days, visitors will also have the opportunity to read letters written by Black Watch soldiers whilst serving in the First World War.
