Bike First Aid: How to save your bike's life by keeping it clean @ North Inch (outside Bells Sports Centre)

Muck, mud, grime, rain, road salt…in other words, bicycle part killers!!!

Learn how to quickly clean your bike to preserve all its vital parts, and how to maintain them so they last, saving you money in the process.

Chains, drive trains, brakes, cables and cassettes will all last CONSIDERABLY longer if you give them a little care and attention after riding, particularly during winter months when the weather is at its worst and there is salt on the roads.

This practical workshop, led by an expert from the Bike Station – Perth, will explain why you should regularly clean your bike and show you how to do it.

Zero Waste Perth will give all participants of this course a FREE basic maintenance kit for taking part. We want to help you keep your carbon footprint to a minimum by making sure your bike lasts as long as possible!!
