City of Perth Classic Car Parade – Saturday 21st April 2018

Come and watch 150 of the Uk’s finest classic cars as they drive through Perth City Centre. The Parade Cars will register at Scone Palace early on the Saturday morning.  They will then drive to the City of Perth via the Old Perth Bridge.

The vehicles will then make their way to Tay Street where you will have a chance to view the cars up close and grab a few pictures.The cars will then depart for Scone Palace heading back over the Old Perth Bridge escorted where the traditional red flag as required by the Locomotive By-Law from 1876 will be celebrated. On their return along Tay Street, HRH Prince Michael of Kent will take the salute at the viewing platform and there will be a commentary of the parade by Colonel Alasdair Hutton from The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

The City of Perth Classic Car parade is organised by The Rotary Club of Blairgowrie and raises funds for Cancer Research UK and Alzheimer’s Scotland. To take part in the City of Perth Classic Car Parade a minimum donation of £50 to the charities is required.

The minimum £50 donation includes the parade in Perth, the events at Scone Palace and the Civic Reception.Classic Car
