The legendary Scottish Fiddle Orchestra return to Perth
Concert Hall where they kick off their exciting new
programme. With a hugely successful year behind them
and never a dull moment, Scotland’s National Fiddle
Orchestra will combine their traditional blend of music and
song in a show which just seems to get better and better.
They are supported by two top Scottish vocalists and a
local pipe band. The show will be conducted by our
musical director Blair Parham. Just the ticket for a cold

Clevillé Dance returns with The North, the bleak yet
whimsical story of John, a young man who finds
himself lost in the harsh yet delicate wilderness
of the North with only himself and two eccentric
Northerners for company. Without any memory of
who he is or where he comes from, John searches
for his own identity in an increasingly unpredictable
environment, a place where being lost is the norm
and letting go the only way to survive.
Blending elements from dance, physical theatre
and puppetry, The North features cinematic visual
and sound design with original music by Luke
Sutherland and an eclectic soundtrack from
Wagner to Frank Sinatra.

In 1974 a group of workers at the Rolls Royce factory in East Kilbride refuse to carry out repairs on warplane engines used in the brutal military coup in Chile. The boycott lasted for four years but the workers never knew what impact they had. Director Felipe Bustos Sierra, the son of a Chilean exile based in Scotland, reunites these inspirational figures to hear their stories.

Brass bands from across Scotland come to Perth and perform set works to compete for their national titles across five sections, as well as the opportunity to qualify for the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
