An evening packed with laughs with Viv Gee (One of Scotland’s top female comics & poet as lovable as she is foul mouthed), Allan J Park (A one man gag machine travel all across the world including sell out shows in Canada), Stephen Buchanan (One of Scotland’s most up and coming comics including the winner of the prestigious BBC Comedy award 2018) and John Gavin (Scottish comedian of the year and star of BBC’s Scot Squad).
There is a bar available at the Masonic Hall on the evening.

Hop on the Gruesome & Ghastly History Mystery Bus Tour!
A bus trip not to be missed! Come along and hear about some of the horrible, gruesome, crime and mystery stories that happened in the recent (and not so recent) past around Kinross-shire. The bus will stop at all the relevant places and the stories will be brought to life by local storyteller Irene McFarlane. There will also be some live music on the bus. A fun way to spend a November Sunday – you never know what you will learn!The Court House welcomes the Kinross Winter Festival Gruesome & Ghastly History Mystery Bus Tour! Join us for a free hot drink to warm you after your chillingly, ghostly experience!

Tickets are limited so book them quick if you can! The bus tour will be approximately 2 hours long.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre: Winter Words Festival

Winter Words returns in February with an inspiring mix of star authors, talks, events workshops (for all ages) and book signings. The festival celebrates history, landscape, nature and people, with a strong focus on Scotland.

Return festival goers will remember brilliant events in previous years from the likes of Brian Blessed, Paul Murton, Neil Oliver, Sally Magnusson, Val McDermid, Julia Donaldson and Michael Palin.

This year we have a few surprises up our sleeve in terms of content and form and are looking forward to sharing our exciting programme later in the year. Make sure you are signed up to receive your festival brochure and our monthly e-newsletter.

The festival will run from Thursday 14 – Sunday 17 February 2019, timings to be confirmed.
