For a great day out Perth has a lot to offer by way of visitor attractions. For heritage attractions, Scone Palace, a major Scottish visitor attraction, is the ancestral home of the Earls of Mansfield and the crowning place of Scottish Kings. Two Historic Scotland properties are also to be found in and around Perth. Elcho Castle is a handsome and complete fortified mansion of 16th-century date, with three projecting towers. Huntingtower Castle has two fine and complete towers, built in the 15th and 16th centuries and joined by a range in the 17th century For a family day out, Noah’s Ark, the indoor playcentre, is located on the western edge of Perth. Visitors will be spoilt for choice with a specially equipped children’s softplay barn for under 12’s, junior and adult indoor karting, ten-pin bowling and a golf range. |
